Frequently Asked Questions continued
How are you able to offer such a low price for all of these services?
For one, most of the work is done inhouse; not contracted out. Because of this, we can offer you a low price for a lot of value.
Secondly, the book text is printed digitally, which is a fairly new method used by printing companies. What most printing companies don't want you to know is that a digital print can be just as high a quality as offset for smaller quantities, and much, much less expensive. We have contracted with a reputable printer that does high quality digital printing - you will be satisfied with the results. After you receive your first print order, if you decide you want to pay the higher priced offset printing from that point on with another provider, we will send you all of the files and let you take it from there. But we are confident that you will be happy with the quality for your self-published book.
Who sets the retail price for my book?
You set and control the retail price of your book. If you need consultation on what price you should charge to be profitable, we will provide that at no additional charge. You really should be realistic when setting a price. For example most paperbound books go for $12 - $15 retail. If you, a new and unknown author, decide to charge $22 retail for your paperback, most people will probably pass your book up in the stores. So try to make the price of your book competitive.
How long will it take to receive my books in hand?
Anywhere from 2-3 months. You will be contacted at each crucial stage in the production process.

What if I need help or have questions after my books arrive?
When you buy a package deal (two or more services) you will also have one month of free email consultation. If you have questions regarding your publishing process, we will answer them to the best of our ability and self-publishing knowledge via email at no additional charge for a period of one month after your books arrive.
How can I be sure that no one will steal my work?
An artistic work is actually protected as soon as it is created. As long as you can prove you wrote the book, whether by file information or witnesses your work is copyrighted. Some authors also protect their work by sending a finished copy of it to themselves via registered mail (includes the date) and never opening it. That way if any issue of who created the work comes up, they can use that registered mail package as proof.
We will also sign a non-disclosure agreement with you that contains detailed information about your work if desired.
